Accidental Death Benefit
The Accidental Death Benefit provides for a benefit of $750 for children
and $1500 for adults when the member loses his life in an accident. The
benefit increases $150 each year for the member and spouse if the current
year's membership dues are paid before November 1st. Maximum benefit is
$3000.
Benefit does not apply to deaths caused by the following conditions:
- by accident while occupying any vehicle which is required to be licensed
under applicable state moter vehicle laws
- arising out of military activity occuring within a combat zone
- by suicide
- occurs during, or is in direct or indirect result of injuries incurred
during the commission of a felony
