Helton wins Miss Farm Bureau – Mississippi title
Jackson – Ashley Helton of Iuka won the Miss Farm Bureau –
Mississippi title at the organization’s annual meeting in Jackson.
The brown-eyed, brown-haired student at Mississippi State was selected
over six other finalists in the statewide pageant. Ashley is a graduate
of Tishomingo High School and is now a President’s List Scholar
at MSU.
Ashley played an original arrangement of “New Orleans Blues”
on the piano as her talent performance.
As Miss Farm Bureau – Mississippi, Helton will serve as a spokesperson
for Farm Bureau during the coming year.
